SEO otherwise known as search engine optimization is how to get the internet's algorithm to notice you. This is crucial to marketing as learning the way the internet's algorithm works is the only way that consumers will notice your page when they are searching for what you specifically market. SEO is great for this because it will scour the internet including your webpage and label it accordingly from what it has learned before.

Although this meta, due to the algorithms interpreting other algorithms we no longer have to guess what words, links, pictures, and trends are effective and noneffective when appealing to a consumer on the internet searching for something. Key performance indicator websites will now tell you exactly how to correctly get "labeled" depending on the many metrics you want to use.


SEO links back to general web searches and also social media bringing along "lost travelers", those who aren't looking for your product and will not buy it, in addition to those who find your product intentionally from other advertising methods. Most importantly those who have found it through SEO, although it is hard to decipher what method of advertising they are succumbing to, KPIs measured from SEO websites are proven and vetted methods of driving traffic to a website.


As an inexpensive part of the strategy with a great Return on Investment (ROI) SEO shows some of the highest margins which is basically the best bang for your advertising buck. But it all begins with the website's "architecture" revamping or starting with good content and trustworthy backlinks is the best way to achieve staying power, organic and ongoing traffic.


In summation, providing honest and trustworthy content while testing keywords in KPIs will get you a consumer who isn't a "lost traveler" and your ideal target market's best bet to finding each other.
